No, this competition is for all of far Northern California.
Do I need to be in far Northern California to compete?
No, but you do need to be willing to relocate if you win.
What is far Northern California?
For this competition, far Northern California refers to Del Norte, Humboldt, Lassen, Mendocino, Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou, and Trinity counties. Feel free to reach out if you want to apply, but your county is not represented.
I am just in the idea stage, can I compete?
Yes, as long as you are willing to test your assumptions, you can compete (and you meet the other rules).
I have an existing company, can I compete?
Yes! As long as the prize money would have a significant positive impact on your company (and you meet the other rules).

Can I participate if I don’t have a business idea?
Yes! We encourage you to. Every good idea needs a team behind it, apply, tell us you want to be a part of a Team and we will help you find a team.
